I just want to be able to use a computer for personal use, can you help?

I'm working in IT and I want to get certified but I don't know which course is right for me. Can you help?

We would recommend you start with ECDL Essentials, a level 1 qualification and progress to Level 2 ECDL Extra. Both are recognised qualifications

What is the ECDL/BCS Certificate

The European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) is fast becoming an industry- standard qualification in IT user proficiency. It has been adopted by companies including HSBC, the Bank of England and Virgin Mobile. Achieving the ECDL will not only give you confidence with a range of common Microsoft Office software, but it will improve your employability by giving you an internationally recognised qualification.

How long is each course?

Our training courses are all self-paced so you have the flexibility of when and where you wish to complete your course. For example, our ECDL course can be completed in a year, but you can complete it even earlier by increasing the time you dedicate to your studies. Conversely, you can take up to two years to complete the course if you're pressed for time.

What resources do I need?

You'll need a PC running Microsoft Windows (or a Mac with Windows support). Internet access is essential as all services can only be accessed online.

Will I get certified immediately after my course?

We are an accredited test centre and all exams are online giving you immediate certification on completion.

I'm not a UK resident. Am I eligible to take a SEEK Learning course?

Many of our courses are delivered online, so those living overseas may be eligible, however testing will have to be done at an accredited centre near you. To find your nearest test centre go to www.ecdl.co.uk.
